Changing Entity Type and LLC Name
To change an entity type: create a new entity of the target type, copy properties, save the new entity. Manually replace the new Id with the old Id so foreign key constraints are maintained.
To change an LLC name, amend articles. Each state has its form. To convert an entity, some states don’t allow. Would need to dissolve the current entity and form a new one. Can assist to file documents for a service fee.

Experienced issue, created a module to alter entity type class via plugin. Supports Node, User, and File entities. When altering Node, alter the type per bundle.
By asserting type, access properties without error. Can also use a type guard to check the type before accessing.
Changing entity type gives industry fields. Warning: shared data transfers over. Non-shared data lost. Click entity to edit. Click Select Action, Change Type.
Can convert entity without losing contents. Common in cards on a board. Also in a detailed view, Actions menu. Hierarchy changes in upgrades.
