Follow these 5 steps to reset your sump pump:
- Disconnect the power.
- Take the sump pump out of the basin.
- Clean out the sump pump.
- Return the sump pump to the basin and restart the power.
- Reset the sump pump.
When you want to reset a standard sump pump, it has a red reset button inside. Hold that button down for 3-5 seconds to see if it turns on again.
