Diluc is the current owner of the Dawn Winery, a nobleman of high esteem in Mondstadt society. His family is the affluent Ragnvindr Clan.
Mysterious Vigilante: Darknight Hero
By day, Diluc runs his family’s vineyard, the Dawn Winery, and a tavern in the city called the Angel’s Share – despite the fact that he has a strong distaste for alcohol. By night, he is secretly a vigilante called the Darknight Hero. After the Traveler helps him with his vigilante work, he offers his future assistance to the Traveler in turn.
Tragic Past and Skilled Warrior
At the age of 14, Diluc suffered a horrible tragedy – watching his adopted father Crepus die right before his eyes. Crepus was killed defending Diluc and his adoptive brother Kaeya from a monstrosity called Ursa the Drake. To save the children, Crepus used a strange Delusion relic and ultimately lost his life.
He is a master sword-seer, highly skilled with physical and elemental attacks. Diluc has a refined, stoic personality which can quickly become fierce in times of crisis. He is protective of Jean, but she tends to be wary of his intrusion into her personal matters.
