UPS announced plans to acquire Happy Returns from PayPal. Happy Returns is a U.S. software and reverse logistics company that helps online retailers offer box-free returns to customers. The acquisition will expand convenient drop-off points by leveraging UPS’s network, providing box-free, label-free returns at over 12,000 locations. Happy Returns CEO David Sobie will continue leading the business. UPS aims to offer full stack solutions for frictionless returns and capitalize on the demand for reverse logistics services.
