Definition of E-business

It is known as e-business or electronic business to the introduction of information and communication technologies (ICT) to carry out the activities and new strategies of a business. It involves a concept that radically changes the traditional conception of buying and selling products or services and produces a globalization effect on access to markets and resources. It encompasses the entire set of economic activities and business management practices that are carried out through the Internet.

The only requirement to carry out e-business is to have a computer with Internet access. Among the advantages associated with E-Business are the saving of time and money, the possibility of carrying out a business idea at the same moment and without the need to travel, and it offers a service 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. However, we also find drawbacks in e-business, such as the minimal cost of changing providers and the greater comparison of providers.
